All gushing inappropriate comments/fanart I may tend to make about these two, I think that the Green Lantern Animated Series fandom is full of people who are here for more than just fluff.
We were drawn to the great character development, writing and dialogue that these two had together and separately as characters. The character arcs and the beautifully subtle change they had going on was DIAMONDS.
Aya doesn’t exist just to heal manpain for Razer, and Razer fights alongside her, and they regard each other as equals.
So when something canon DID happen that meant more than friendship by the end of the season, the payoff for us as an audience is exponentially rewarding.
